The National Undergraduate
Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Conference 2020
We are proud to invite all UK medical students to join us at the first conference of its kind: The National Undergraduate Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Conference 2020.
The National Undergraduate Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Conference (NUORC) is an undergraduate conference aimed at medical students from all over the UK who are interested in finding out more about the specialities and wanting to have an opportunity to have a hands-on go in practical workshops.
Come to the conference and:
- Broaden your understanding of the work and life of orthopaedic surgeons and rheumatologists, with talks from the best in the field and great networking opportunities
- Get unique and exceptional hands-on experience in several FUN and PRACTICAL orthopaedic and rheumatology workshops - including plating and screwing, bone cementing, VR technology, and exercise-based healing
- Find out more on how YOU can get ahead in your surgical or medical career pathway through our workshops - includes how to build your medical portfolio, how to get involved in research as a medical student, and how to effectively revise and manage your time in medical school
- Get the opportunity to present your poster at a NATIONAL conference to gain points for your medical portfolio
This is THE conference to come to if you're currently studying orthopaedics and rheumatology and want to get ahead in the game, or if you're keen to pursue a career in either of these fields, or if you're just curious about the two specialities.
